Things may have been a little hotter than usual out at the Langley Loafers BC Old Time Drags at the Eagle Motorplex this past weekend. According to Dean Murdoch of SpeedZone Magazine, “a lightning storm went through the area. A fire started just southeast of the track from one of the strikes. Within five minutes the fire grew and the forest service was notified and the water bombers showed up in less than 40 minutes.”
